Hertfordshire RBLR will be attending Aldenham Church for the commemoration of the death of 2nd lieutenant Peter Francis Kent No 3 Squadron Royal Flying Corps.
Peter died on the 6th February 1918 at the age of nineteen. His aircraft
(C1552 Sopwith Camel) was shot down and Peter was killed over Remy.
As part of our act of remembrance a drumhead service will take place with
Air Commodore Hugh Trenchard, Lord lieutenant of Hertfordshire, No. 3
Squadron Royal Air Force Conningsby, RAF School of music musician’s, local
elements of the Air Cadets will be in attendance.
For those attending the service the RV Point is 0830 for breakfast at the Toby carvery, Hartspring Ln, Watford WD25 8AD

We shall be honouring Pte George Rose Fox of the 1st Bn. The Cambridgeshire Regiment who died on 14th March 1918 and is remembered with honours in Holy Trinity Churchyard, Coates.
The key timings are:
09:30 Riders Branch members begin to arrive at the Wisbech RV
10:10 Riders depart Wisbech for Coates Cemetery
10:40 All attendees to be assembled at Holy Trinity Church, North Green, Coates, PE7 2BQ
10:45 VIPs arrive at Coates Cemetery
10:55 All attendees proceed to the Church, led by the Reverend and Standards
11:00 Service Begins
The next Cambridgeshire Brunch Meet of 2018 will be in Needingworth on Saturday 17th March. Sit down to eat 11:00. £6 per head.

Essex Riders will be holding a Meet and Greet event at the Squadron Bar on the 24th March 2018.
The main purpose is to try and get as many Essex Riders to attend so as to discuss any issues or suggestions for the coming Centennial events and general management of the County twig.
The event is open to all other County Riders who may wish to ride over and have brunch, and get together for a social chat.
This is a Social meet up at the H Cafe for Brunch and a chance to meet up with fellow Riders from Oxon and other Counties

North East. We are supporting The Gold Wing Owners Club Great Britain and their many Riders Branch members by assisting with static marshalling of their first ever Whitley Bay light parade. RV at the Briardene car park Whitley Bay sea front at 1700hrs for briefing.
Half day rideout in Northumberland. Starting at Seaton Burn services at 0930 a mornings ride will be followed by a pub lunch before making our way to the annual RAFA Ansac day service at Chevington not far from Amble. the route will be L plate friendly and everyone is welcome to take part.
North east. The Northumberland / Tyne and wear Cardinal points war memorial ride.
An L plate friendly route visiting the most northern, eastern, western and southern WW1 war memorials in Northumberland and Tyne and Wear to leave a simple wooden cross at each as part of our 100 memorials project to mark the end of the Great war
