Farnsfield RBL have invited Notts RBLR to bring along our stand and bikes to their annual Armed Forces Day celebrations. The event officially starts at 15:00hrs in the afternoon (these timings may alter) with period re-enactors, a beer tent, children’s activities and, later in the day, two live groups and a disco, finishing around 11pm – 11.30pm. I thought we could arrive and set up our stall until late afternoon/early evening but those wishing to stay for the live music in the evening have been invited to do so. Once again looking for support for a couple of hours whilst the stand is up and running

Bilsthorpe Branch nearly folded a couple of years ago and Keeley (their Branch Chair) has been working tirelessly to revive the branch and the Legion presence within this small once mining community – She has reached out to the Notts Sqn of the RBLR to ask us to put up our stand and ride some bikes through the village at their first Community Fete to raise Legion awareness and help promote recruitment (for both the local branch & RBLR) – Notts Sqn have said we’d be delighted to help! –
